Yoga and Drinking.

I am addicted to yoga and have been attending yoga session every week for more than a year at Malaysian Yoga Society in Brickfields and Bangsar.
The benefits of the this ancient exercise is renowned for physical and mental advantages. What I learned recently is that binge-drinking can also be as effective as practising yoga. For the light hearted ones, enjoy the visual presentation below:

Pregnant.

PREGNANT

The word blew me away. It was written on a website called oneword.com, because one word is what is needed to make a lifetime impact.
The word was impeccably interesting to me when I was married and when I returned to Malaysia from UK. I looked forward to being a mother. A woman can never feel complete if that motherly role is omitted from her life. It doesn't matter whether the child is biological or adopted. I guess female machines are made particularly for a reason.

Now that I am single again, my motherly instinct still exists, (like a supply of water flowing from a pipe and suddenly pipe breaks, supply leaks) but I can't imagine how I can be pregnant. Unbelievably, the words that came out from my mum's mouth- adopt one. Yes, I know that is something more feasible. Would I want to be a single mum? The more pressing issue here is that I am not capable of supporting another life, financially and more importantly mentally and emotionally. Or maybe I think I can't!

The responsibility is tremendously powerful and overly mind-boggling.

God, will I ever get to see my biological child in this life? Or being childless is my karma on earth?

Birthday Cake.

There was a birthday cake
who stood by the bakery window's sill
it had so many candles
without any wicks nor flames
it stared into the street
full with people-a-fleeting
it made a wish that night
that someone will come to its plight.

Wed bells.

To the pair of lovebirds who tied the knot last week, I wish many more colourful rainbows, warmest sunshine and eternal Cupid accompanying you both throughout the wonderful life of marriage. May the brightest star shines on you during the darkest time and the bind that ties you together remains strong for eternity!

Love you, PS!

My favourite place to write.

"It is getting colder in McD Bangsar. How do I make myself 'feel' warm? I picture myself wrapped in a genuine lambswool pashmina bought from a London boutique. I dream of myself enclosed with a jacket bought from GAP London boutique.

Why am I picturing and imagining things? Because they say the mind can help you to heal or kill. I'm attempting to use my mind as a friendly tool, not a deadly weapon. Hence, I'm using this gadget to make myself feel warm.

Honestly my skin is squeezed, dried and the tips of my fingers have turned frosty. The back of my neck is crying for the hands of a masculine figure. My shoulders are aching, the bones are fritty nitty tired, yes.

I rubbed my hands again. There is fire leaping in front of my eyes. The scouring flame blew heat into my factual realm. CCCCCold still!"

I exercise my writing muscles at least once a week for one hour at different venues. Until today I have been going solo at McD Bangsar. I luv the place. It's spacious and provides customers with the choices of air-cond/non-aircond, smoking/non-smoking/ seating. I prefer the company of a cup of tea and a small packet of french fries whilst writing crap or crop.

Cycle Virgin.

The time has come for me to purchase a cycle for myself. I already have the safety and maintenance gadgets, which will be a loss if I don't put into good use, right? I'm not going to be too particular about the type/brand of the cycle, and I'm sure as I cycle actively I will also learn about the theories soon enough.

I read at another blog about a certain heavenly cycling place in Shah Alam--> Taman Pertanian. Bicycles are available for rent there. The only thing I need to find out is how to get there and gather some cycle-venturers to tag along. The merrier is definitely the best!!

Operating Hours and Fees

The operating hours of the park is from 8:30am to 4:30pm Tuesdays to Sundays. It is closed on Mondays except when Monday is a public or school holiday. The address and contact number of the Shah Alam Malaysia Agriculture Park are:

Taman Pertanian Malaysia
Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam,

Selangor, Malaysia.
Tel : +603 5510 6922 / 5510 6923

The entrance fees to the park are:

RM3.00 for adult 12 years and above. RM1.00 for children 4 to 11 years old. RM1.00 for visitors 55 years and above.

Other charges are:

Getting Here

Take RapidKL bus number 63 or 338 from Kuala Lumpur and stop at the bus station near Maybank building in Shah Alam city centre. From here, take a taxi to the park.

The other way is to take the KTM Komuter train and disembark at Shah Alam Station. From here, take a taxi and you will reach the park in approximately 20 minutes time.

A trip to Taman Pertanian is a definite must!

29 Aug 2009.

My eldest brother is married and I was elected as the bridesmaid. Now, I've fulfilled the responsibility of becoming both sis-in-laws' companion during the ceremony. The event was yesterday. Meticulously organised by the bride's side at a temple in Seremban. My family and I stayed in Hotel Royale Bintang in the middle of the town. Very strategic place I must say.

I enjoyed wearing my gift - sari/saree.

"Sari dipakai nampak berseri,
Anggun dan lawa tidak berperi,
Pesona si wanita terserlah pasti,
Riak wajah menyinar bak mentari."

Garage sale and birthday party.

I felt a little bit overworked today. During the day, I was at Amcorp Mall's fleamarket selling pre-loved stuff and at night I celebrated my niece's birthday at my second brother's place.

Garage sale was pretty exciting, profitable and got to meet a few eccentric and experienced personas.
After the sale, I tagged along with brother to buy food and cake for my niece's birthday party.

And now I'm packing for another sale day tomorrow and getting ready to go to bed. Time off!

Training.

I am currently, right now, this second, sitting on a chair at a training centre at Old Klang Road, preparing to undergo a 3-hour session of facebook and internet marketing training. It is a short introductory session before their more intensive 2-day workshop next month.

The founder also established the Malaysian Business Network.com, a website claiming to be the largest network available for Malaysians. Hmmmm....good when I have a business hah! definitely.

I was hoping another friend could have attended this with me today, but he couldn't make it. Too busy with his biz already.
