Letter from pm

currently, i'm reading a book "Start your business week by week" by Steve Parks, and there was something on how to turn mind pictures into real pictures, as you plan your business ideas into real business reality. i was telling this and also my serious idea of opening a children library in jb (as soon as i return from london) to my niece. One of the suggestions of daydream in the book is to write a letter that you receive from the prime minister . And here is what my niece has written, please bear in mind that whatever written here is purely fictitious:

Dear ...,

I guess I don’t need to introduce myself further. Just let me get straight to the matter of this letter (wow, didn’t know that I ‘m able to write rhymes).

Your decision to open a children library in JB a few years back was one of the few best steps you have ever taken to sprite up your life. CONGRATULATIONS! And now, I see a few children libraries growing like mushrooms around the country. I was appalled by the changes within the young community in this country. I never thought that their thirst of knowledge and hunger for reading material is so demanding and crucial to the progress of our country. It never cross my mind that even used reading materials is essential to the overall development of our future leaders. Thank you for hitting that into my grey matter!!

You must have spent a lot of money, maybe even as much as my salary for a month, to gather the books, refurbish the building, arranging volunteers to spend their valuable time and most of all, to encourage kids or parents, to step into the heaven for children. I admire your spirit!!

Well, as the saying goes,” Don’t ask what the country has done for you; ask yourself what can u do for the country”, and clearly you have proven your part to the country. You are an excellent example citizen, and thus, I’ve suggested to the YDP to confer the title Dato’ to you.

Now, there is one thing that I don’t understand. Why did it take such a long time for someone to make children library into a reality? I know there is already one in PJ, near the PJ State Library, and it has already been there for quite a while, maybe 10 years. I am just waiting for anyone bold enough to tell me about the intention to open a children library in every state. Of course I know a lot of money and time is needed to pull out this huge project. I’m not blind or deaf! I just want someone to come and tell me about it. And alas, after years of waiting and praying and wishing, finally you came into the picture. Bless you my child!!

You have definitely been an inspiration to a lot of people out there. Keep up the good work. I’ve also included a cheque of 100,000 pounds, which is my personal contribution, to you and your staff. Thank you!

Sincerely,

PM
