Anxiety in absence

While walking from work this evening, i saw a child, about 3 ys.old crying, shouting and looking aimlessly for his mum. This happened in a playground, and there were a lot of parents there helping him out as well.
Last Saturday in Bracknell, while visiting a Malaysia Festival there with my husband, a mum was hysterically tracking her 5 yrs. old daughter in a crowded shopping area.Even the shoppers guard were searching frantically for her beloved. After a while, an old couple successfully brought the daughter back to her. How they did it, I don't know....
How ironic is it! Losing your precious one from ur life, be it a human or a pet or maybe even a thing. How attached we are to the things that bind us to this material life! Could somebody's loss be another person's gain?
