Last week after the Orientation Week, I went back to JB on Thursday night and spent quality time with my husband. I did Internet work solely on Friday. Really enjoyed being alone in a very serene place in my own house and free to do absolutely whatever I want to do under the sky.
Yesterday, I took MARA Liner back to dreadful KL. And guess who I met at the KL Sentral LRT? Chris from City University, UK. Sri and I didn’t see him for 3 years already. Although he is very well settled in Bintulu and working in a very established local company and soon to get settled down in his personal life, we share the same retrospect-ical value of missing UK, the holiday travel, the overall lifestyle and the people-people interaction in that country. As one of my lecturers mentioned of how we Malaysians are lack in the awareness of safeguarding the community and looking after each other. For example, what do we do when somebody make a bustle in the library or during lecture time? Do we just sit back and let some one else take the toll? Or do we leave the place and hope somebody else will help us to solve the problem? “Tunggu dan lihatlah, wahai permaisuriku.”
Another friend of mine who has returned to the world of public teaching is still diligently attending the training course until Tuesday. She was agonising on the fact that the officers are always extending their stay there and keep giving them ‘suprises’ without providing any notices or letters.
I am also looking for a rented house or room near Bangsar area. Too many youngsters surrounding me can also become a hazard. Feels like I’ll never grow up.
