My Marketplace.

'Start Your Business Week By Week' by Steven Parks is a book I bought five years ago. I'm reading it for the second time now, although the pilot reading did not yield any concrete results.

Today the question I need to ask myself, suggested this book, is: What marketplace are you going to operate in?
I am going to sell books, magazines, printed and digital publications pertaining to the world of children and education. The age group I'm targeting would be birth until young adult (or young at heart).
Now, my direct marketplace would be book sellers (big or small scale) or any publishing company. Probing further, I would also include schools, kindergartens, gift shop, internet, postal department, environment ngos, printing company and even airlines.
Why did I include airlines? Easy, because I just found out that a certain publishing company in India sells books at two different prices if their books are bought inside or outside India. And so, I've decided to go there at the end of the year, via AirAsia empty handed, and return to Malaysia with luggage full of books. I intend to treat this getaway as a vacation and purchase-for-sell activity. Hence, I need to know any travel fare information from the airlines.

Does that make sense?
