The 5 P of presenting a lecture to a bunch of students:
1) PURPOSE- Use the course outline as a guide so that you can prepare the notes according to what you have planned earlier.
2) PREPARATION- Read, read, read; then write, write, write,; now revise, revise, revise.
3) PLANNING- Sketch the flow of the lecture in your head, the tutorial and discussions to be held during the time should be glued nicely to your lecture notes.
4) PRACTICE- If possible, mock out the lecture in another empty class. Walk around the space that you have in the class and deliver your content as what you want to deliver in the real class.
5) PERFORMANCE- Don't be a diva; just be an honest, approachable and confident speaker.
