Meeting Bank Managers.

There will come a time when the need to meet and talk to bank managers will arise in the cycle of owning a business. The most valid reason I could think from the top of my head now is applying loan to start or continue a business.

Choosing the appropriate bank manager is equally important as choosing a life partner. They are either unhelpful people or the most generous person available on earth. Always remember that you can scout around for the most potential business manager that will treat you as the best customer they ever have in their entire life, or at least they pretend to do so.

There are several important questions to ask yourself when meeting a bank manager:
  1. Do I like this person?
  2. Do I trust them?
  3. Are their comments and suggestions helpful and constructive?
  4. Does this person have any authority whatsoever in the bank?
  5. Will they be willing to help me out by sacrificing their blood and bones?
If you answer 'no' to all the questions above, run for the exit door and find another bank.
