Americans coming to town.

Several popular American TV talk show hosts are not only planning to visit Malaysia this year, but also to cook out a few series about Malaysia in their programmes.

Martha Stewart will be bringing her crew with her to Kuala Lumpur and Sabah in May, promising to show both places in her Martha Stewart Show programme, which will also highlight Malaysian cuisine, handicraft and culture.

Another TV personality, Samantha Brown of Travel Channel (Girl Meets Hawaii, Great Hotels, Passport To Europe, Passport To Latin America, Great Weekends, Passport To China) will be visiting us in March. She is scheduled to take the train ride from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur.

A film crew from Project Explorer, an online global travel series mainly for students, are flying into the country in April. In the future, American students can access to people and places in Malaysia through virtual field trips.

One rather special organisation that represents millions of hearing disabled Americans, DeafNation, has shown interest to feature Malaysia as one of the holiday destinations to their deaf community.
So, with all these eminent celebrities and organisations' media crews coming to Malaysia to capture the country's distinctive features, are we ready to welcome them and showcase our best cultural and human values to them?
