My very first place of lodging in Kerala, India---> Tharavadu Heritage Home, Kumarakom, a 2-hour taxi ride (1500Ind Rps) from Cochin International Airport. I stayed with another three friends for two nights. I would love to come back again to stay in their homely Heritage Rooms, 2200Ind Rps and if you want to opt for something economical and more to natural habitat, go for cosy and simple Bamboo Cottage, 1200Ind Rps.
