Another place to start the book industry research is to browse bookshops, online or physical ones, for titles that relate to the publication and book industry. There maybe 'how to' guides, or a biography of a famous figure in the biz. Better still if you can contact the person directly, and select him/her as your mentor whether in real life,or just as an imaginary persona or role model.
I have a few names on my hidden list, and if my destiny is to start a children bookshop, I hope to find and meet the right mentor to guide me in this business. Fingers crossed, applesauce-d!!!
